Hand-painted wooden wall paneling

For the new Levi’s Store in the Nine Streets district in Amsterdam, Blue Print Amsterdam felt honored to be asked to create designs giving the store a special ‘Amsterdam feel’. We created several bespoke interior pieces and fabrics, all made with natural indigo and upcycled indigo fabrics.

The wooden wall paneling at the dressing rooms is showing an abstract ‘blueprint’ of Amsterdam, completely hand-painted with natural indigo. This massive artwork shows our intense love for both the city of Amsterdam as well as natural and sustainable materials.
Thereafter, we translated the blueprint of Amsterdam, into indigo screen-printed and hand-dyed bandana fabrics, whom you can find at the tailor bar. Also available at the tailor bar is the rock ‘n roll hand print we have developed for the festival season.
