Rice Screen Print and Indigo Dye Workshop

For the Amsterdam Denim Days late 2018, we teamed up with Soorty Enterprises in order the host a “walk-in workshop indigo event “

During the show people were invited to screen print a bandana with a special rice paste. We made a custom print for the Denim Days & Soorty, by hand, to pay attention to this special event. After the screen-printing, the bandanas were dyed in a freshly made vat of natural indigo, and after rinsing the print would show. Guests could take their self-made bandana home as a souvenir.
