Tenue de Nîmes exclusives

In continuation of our insanely popular indigo over-dyed Converse collaboration with Tenue de Nîmes, we decided to push the boundaries a bit more.

We have been playing around with different natural dyes, to reach a color that will give a ‘Venice Beach’ feel. After trying several natural ingredients, we created the sought-after color using a madder root. Madder is a Dutch homegrown plant, actually growing in our garden, holding a wonderful pinkish color in its roots.

Once the samples were approved, we handed over the production of the limited collaboration to the Boro*Atelier. The Boro*Atelier is a social and sustainable atelier in Amsterdam, and Blue Print’s production atelier for orders over 150 pieces.
