Noren for Silver Lyan Bar Washington

Indigo Noren – a commission for the  Silver Lyan Bar in Washington.

We created this traditional Noren, the existing cloud pattern (signature Lyan bar style) was carefully brought onto the fabric by applying rice paste on both sides and matching exactly of course !

After multiple dips of natural indigo the rice paste was rinsed of, and the noren was stitched by our Wonderful Maria of AMK atelier.
