Marbling on Fabric Workshop

During this workshop you will learn how to work with ink floating on water and create different prints with these.

Marbling is based on an ancient Japanese technique called “Suminagashi”, which translates into “ink to float on water”. We apply this mesmerizing technique in a contemporary way to upcycle waste fabrics or create designs on shoes and clothes. This basic workshop is done with waterbased acrylic paints. You will first trial on paper, then fabric and if you wish finish on a product.
