Create Natural Dye Ink & Screen Print Workshop

This day long workshop is intended for anyone interested in making their own simple screen printing inks. We also offering this course on a one to one basis, so if you prefer you can book a day to suit you.

Using pigments from plants from the garden, and extracts, you will learn how to make up a suitable print binder and mix to form a colourful natural printing ink. The aim is to make a selection of 3  different coloured inks  ( redish, yellow and blue ) in the morning and screenprint a simple geometric design in the afternoon. Learning the basic principles of cutting a paper stencil and printing on either paper or fabric.

A light lunch and refreshments are included. (Please give advice on any special dietary requirements)
