Benzak Denim Developers x Blue Print Amsterdam

Together with our friends at Benzak Denim Developers we have been cooking up something very special in order to celebrate their 5-year anniversary.

We hand dyed a very limited amount of Benzak’s high-quality tees and henleys in top notch indigo, the so-called suffruticosa from Central America which contains a high percentage of indigotin. To achieve the incredible deep blue color, the shirts were dyed one by one for at least 6 times – a very precise process.

After the dyeing process, which took at least 1 hour per shirt, the shirts were rinsed thoroughly and left in vinegar overnight so that the indigo stays attached to the shirt.
