INDIGO KATAZOME WORKSHOP Saturday MAY 23rd 2026

Description

Katazome is a centuries-old, Japanese resist-dyeing method used to create patterned textiles.

This workshop will begin with an  introduction  on the technique, including some examples of antique  katazome fabrics

You will then produce your own katazome stencil or can use one of our stencils

to create your own bandana(s).

After this we dry them and you will overdye them with natural indigo

The workshop time is  10.30h till 14.30h. Incl soup and bread

Registration is final after payment. This workshop will only take place if there are at least 4 registrations.
